Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify setting of reagents on a reagent table without causing setting error by marking the reagent container itself to identify types of reagent and by detecting a desired container by way of a marking readout instrument. CONSTITUTION:A reagent container 3 is shaped to the form of equally divided cylindrical column, having a reagent port 3a to the top of the reagent container. Container identification label with marks at plural positions of the surface is pasted to the curved surface 4, to indicate the type of the reagent in the reagent container by combination of the marks. A plurality of reagent containers 3, including each different type reagent, are randomly set on a reagent-table 1, then the table 1 is rotated. When a reagent selecting position identification instrument 5 detects the desired reagent container 3, then the table 1 is stopped at the pouring out position. The reagent is sucked by a pouring out nozzle 6 and poured out into an appointed reaction tube 6, by the movement of a pour out arm 8.
