Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain the titled carrier free from air bubbles and having stable quality by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin coated on the surface of a base material molded into an umbrella shape to obtain the elemental material of the carrier and a stamper is closely contacted therewith from the apex part of the umbrella shape to the peripheral end part succeedingly to subject the same to hot press molding. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1a is molded into an umbrella form and a thermoplastic resin is coated to the entire surface of a protruded surface side thereof and dried to form the elemental material of a carrier and this material is fixed to a lower mold 3 of a press machine by a clamping ring 2. In this condition, pressure is applied while the lower mold is raised by an oil press and the coating layer and a stamper 7 are gradually contacted from the apex part to the peripheral end part thereof to add pressure to set pressure. In this time, the stamper 7 is heated by steam by utilizing a passage 6.
