Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A continuation/non-continuation mode indicating FF11 is set or reset by a continuation mode of a non-continuation mode indicated by a command signal in advance. Also, a series data read out from a magnetic disk, etc. is provided to an AND gate 13 by a clock synchronizing with the data, its series data is inputted to a cyclic code generating circuit 10 through the gate 13, is subtracted by a generating polynomial in accordance with a data lock enable signal, and its division is executed until the final data in the sector. Subsequently, immediately before the next first data is obtained, a cyclic code of a data string having prescribed length is obtained by referring to a state of the FF11 by the circuit 10, and after read-out of the indicated data has been completed, and cyclic code is outputted, and display of an error frame is prevented.
