Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of the operator and to facilitate corresponding operations, by classifying alarms to plural functional groups and selecting and discriminating a group for the occurrence of an alarm to report it to the operator with visual and aural information. CONSTITUTION:Alarms are classified to plural functional groups by the degree of importance, the degree of urgency, the function, etc.; and when an alarm occurs, the group to which the alarm belongs is selected and discriminated and is reported to the operator with visual and aural information. For example, the alarm signal of a plant is inputted as a digital signal to an input signal processing part 2 of a computer 1, and the output signal is sent to a logical deciding part 3. Next, the generated alarm is classified functionally in the logical deciding part 3 to decide the group to which the alarm belongs. The decided result of the logical deciding part 3 is reported to the operator through an output signal processing part 4 with visual information on a CRT display equipment 5 and aural information on a voice reporting device 6.
