Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an elctrostatic copying film good in toner adhesion, by providing a coat layer of an aqueous acrylic resin emulsion mixed with a destaticizing agent on the surface of the film. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic copying film is used for developing and with toner fixing an electrostatic latent image, and, for example, made of polyester, PVC, or the like. An acrylic type aqueous resin coating material mixed with a destaticizing agent, such as a cationic, anionic or amphoteric surfactant is coated on the surface of the film. As the coating material, for example, an emulsion polymer prepared from a mixture of reactive vinyl monomers, such as (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester and styrene is used. Since the coat layer of said emulsion contains the destaticizing agent, the transferred toner image is perfectly fixed in a short time, and even if the toner image is rubbed son after copying, it causes no stain. Even when a large number of copied films are stacked, no offset of the toner occurs.
