Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a titled coating agent capable of forming a relief on the surface of a matter to be coated without use of a solvent by arranging a multifunctional monomer comprising a multivalent alcohol and an acrylate-based compound and a resin soluble therein at a specified rate. CONSTITUTION:(B) 5-50wt% of a resin soluble in the component A (e.g. ethylcellulose or the like) is blended in (A) 10-95wt% of a multifunctional monomer (preferably 1,6-hexanediole diacrylate) obtained by condensation of a multivalent alcohol and an acrylate based compound and hydroguinone or the like for improved presservability and stability and a lipping agent for improved friction resistance are added as required to obtain an intended coating agent. The coating agent thus obtained is applied on a matter to be coated and then, preferably, hardened by an electron ray at an energy of 100-300KeV, an irradiation current of less than 100mA, and an irradiation does of 0.5-10 Mrad in an atmosphere of an inert gas.
