Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure and control an ultrafiltration amount always accurately by preliminarily programming operations of each pumps and valves to selectively carry out a single pass system, a partial recirculation system and a closed recirculation system corresponding to the condition of a desease of a patient.
CONSTITUTION: When a single pass system is carried out, valves V1, V2, V5, V6 are opened and valves V3, V4 are closed, and, in a first process, pumps P1, P4 are subjected to emitting operation and pumps P2, P3 to sucking operation and, in a second process, reverse operation of each pumps may be carried out. When a partial recirculation system is carried out, valves V1, V3, V6 are opened and valves V2, V4, V5 are closed and, in a first process, pumps P1, P3 are subjected to emitting operation and pumps P2, P4 to sucking operation and, in a second process, reverse operations of each pumps may be carried out. In a closed recirculation system, a dialyzing liquid is flowed for a definite time by the above described two systems and a valves V3, V4 are opened and valves V1, V2, V5, V6 are closed and, in a first process, pumps P1, P3 are subjected to emitting operation and pumps P2, P4 to sucking operation and, in a second process, reverse operations of pumps is carried out and these operations are alternately carried out to attain the closed recirculation system.
