Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve data transmission even with large transmission distortion, by comparing an input and an output of an error correction decoder and controllling an automatic equalizer according to the result. CONSTITUTION:A tranmission section converts a digital signal into an octal signal for output. At a reception section, a signal at a transmision band only is applied to a demodulator DEM with a band pass filter RBPH for demodulation. A base band signal in the demodulation signal is applied to an automatic equalizer. The equalized output is applied to an AD converter ACD to to convert the octal signal into 4 bits. The least significant bit is set to an error bit and other 3 bits is applied to error correction decoders DEC1-DEC3. The error correction decoders correct the transmission error by using the error correction code included in each grame. The comparison circuit COMP corrects the error bit from the AD converter ADC and apply the result to the automatic equalizer AEQ from the difference between the input and output of the error correction decoder.
