PURPOSE:To extend the latitude of the titled material and to enhance the sharpness by adding a compound absorbing light in the sensitive wavelength range of the >=2 silver halide emulsion layers to a layer other than the layer farthest from the support among the layers by a larger amount. CONSTITUTION:This color photographic sensitive material for photographing has >=2 silver halide emulsion layers contg. diffusion resistant couplers and particles of the same silver halide and having the same sensitivity on the support. To a layer other than the layer farthest from the support among said layers is added a compound absorbing light in the sensitive wavelength range of the layer, e.g., a filter dye by a larger amount. The filter dye is removed by outflow in an ordinary color developing soln. and the colored couplers react with the oxidant of the color developing agent to give coloring dyes useful in the formation of an image.
