Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize and to simplify the construction of a reader which resolves light flux from a manuscript into plural color components and reading them by plural sensors, by arranging the plural sensors on one surface where the resolution degree of respective color components approximately agree with each other. CONSTITUTION:Solid sensors 9, 10 such as CCD and photodiodes are arranged on the same surface of formed on the same base plate and light receiving elements are arrayed on each sensor one-dimensionally in the vertical direction against the surface of paper. Two reading lines 11, 12 on a manuscript 1 are image- formed on the sensors 10, 9 respectively by a lens 3 irradiated by a fluorescent lamp 2 for illuminating the manuscript. A red component transmitting filter 7 and a cyanic component transmitting filter 8 are set in the light passages of image formation of lines 12, 11 respectively. The plural solid sensors are put on the same surface and the surface is an appropriate one on which the chromatic aberration of the lens is considered, miniaturizing and simplifying the reader.
