Abstract
PURPOSE:To drastically reduce the installation area of the captioned unit and to firmly support and securely rotate a product to be blast-shot, compared with the conventional type of shotblast equipment by using a walking beam conveyor having a smaller installation area. CONSTITUTION:A walking beam conveyor 3, which carries a multi angle-shaped product W such as cylinder block on its longer side, is extended longitudinally in the middle of a cabient 1 for shotblast equipment. Automatic revolution devices 4 and 4 which supports the product on the conveyor 3 at both sides and forces the product to rotate automatically, are pierced through the side walls of the cabinet 1. Then, the rotating force of a motor provided with a reduction gear is transferred to drive shafts 15 and 15 through a chain gear, connecting shaft, and clutch, thereby rotating the shafts 15 and 15 at the same rotary speed and in the same direction together with a gear case 8, and arm members 12, 12 and 13 and 13. This construction drastically reduces the installation area for the equipment and firmly supports the product, thereby obtaining an automatic revolution without fail.
