Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a compact facsimile equipment by utilizing a scanner base which forms the optical system optical path of an original readout part to substitute for a main body stay and fitting other members directly to this scanner base. CONSTITUTION:A lower member 28 and an upper member 29 are fixed with screws to form a scanner base 27, where both side plates 35 and 36 are fixed. Then those side plates 35 and 36 are both fixed to a bottom plate 25 with a screw 44 to fabricate a housing system. In this state, the scanner base 27 serves as a sary to determine position relation between both the side plates 35 and 36.
