Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the insertion loss and to make manufacture easy, by locating a plurality of unit unidirectional electrodes to the direction of elastic surface wave transmission through interleaving a converter and connecting them with each other to form the unidirectional piezoelectric converter. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes can be interleaved since sufficient piezoelectric conversion efficient is obtained, if pairs of electrodes are conformed to the electromechanical coupling coefficient of a substrate 5. Thus, a unit unidirectional piezoelectric converter is interleaved evey other block. Different unit unidirectional piezoelectric converters are located with interval of a multiple of (a positive integer +1/2) of the wavelength to prevent the same converter from being located periodically, allowing to suppress the spurious suppression amount outside of the main response band.
