Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the set precision of a transmission output level and facilitate initialization for temperature compensation, by detecting the transmission level by diodes, where operation characteristics are equalized to one another easily, and a level converting resistance element. CONSTITUTION:Diodes DD1-DD4 which measure the level of a transmission output have the same characteristic approximately, and detection outputs from these diodes are supplied to one terminal of a comparator CMP through an adjusting arm ARM, and a reference potential is supplied to the other terminal of the comparator CMP from a level adjusting equipment LV including a temperature compensating thermistor TH. When this transmitter TX approaches the base station, a microprocessor PC of a receiver RX detects this approach to set the adjusting arm ARM to the highest position (DDL), and therefore, the amplification gain of a transmission power amplifier PA is lowered, and the power transmitted from an antenna ANT to the base station is lowered.
