Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve miniaturization by providing a cassette body with a lid whose lock releasing member and lid opening member are operated as the cassette is inserted into a video tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:A supporting shaft 10A is provided at the lower part of the internal surface of one tab 4 of a lid 2 to support one end of a leaf spring 11. The leaf spring 11 is installed in the space of the side-wall internal surface of a cassette 1, and the other end is supported on a supporting shaft 10B. As the cassette 1 is inserted into a recorder, the locking projection part 14 of a slide member 12 gets out of the notch part 13 of the tab 4 and the lid is capable of rotating on a shaft 6. The slide member 12 further moves to press the leaf spring 11 from a conical shape to a linear shape, and then the lid 2 moves the supporting shaft 10A on the shaft 6 as a fulcrum to the outside, thereby opening a tape-drawing hole.
