If the bucket 5 is overloaded with the material during its upward travel, the bucket 5 leans against the belt 2c, but it is separated from the belt 2c when it passes over a projection 4a formed over the belt 2c. At this moment, separation of the bucket 5 from the belt 2c makes surplus of the material dropped through the gap.
