Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit an anchor to self-travel or to be anchored automatically by wireless remote control, by arranging a ballast division for a float in the anchor, and providing the anchor body with an excavator and a propeller. CONSTITUTION:The anchor has the ballast division 14 in the float, is equipped with a direction controlling apparatus fixed fins 2 and movable fins 3, the propeller 4, the excavator 7, etc., and is connected via a swivell 11 to a mooring line 10 payed out from a mother ship. When the anchor is to be moved submerged, the ballast in the ballast division 14 in the float 1 is adjusted to regulate the attitude of the anchor, it is advanced by the propeller till it reaches a scheduled sea bottom 16, the attitude is controlled such that the excavator is directed to the scheduled sea bottom, and the excavator 7 is driven with the ballast increased to penetrate the sea bottom 16.
