Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled gas without causing the corrosion of a device useful for an electricity generation system with high efficiency and low pollution, by desulfurizing a gas evolved from a gasification furnace and removing dust from it efficiently through a catalyst contact treatment of COS conversion, dry type dust collection, alkali treatment, wet type electric dust collection, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A gas produced from the gasification furnace 1 is subjected to heat exchange by the super heater 2, etc., made at 250W450°C, brought into contact with the active face A of a conversion catalyst by the oxidizing device 3 of carbonyl sulfide through a parallel flow process, and converted into hydrogen sulfide.
