Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to bring a painting work position close to a painting booth sufficiently as well as to eliminate a conveyor by a method wherein a painting robot is attached to the top surface of the painting booth and the arm thereof is constituted so as to be moved to the front surface of said booth in a swingable manner to enable to replace an article to be painted only by bringing down a support table forwardly.
CONSTITUTION: If a painting robot B is attached to the top surface of a painting booth, a space occupied by the painting robot B positioned in front of the painting booth A is opened to enable to bring the painting table C close to the painting booth A sufficiently as well as to arrange them in large numbers. Because a space between the painting tables C becomes narrow, a worker can carry out the work for attaching an article D to be painted onto a left and a right painting tables C rapidly and easily. When the worker attaches the article D to be painted onto one painting table moved to the position (a) and pushes a push button, the painting table C is automatically moved to the painting position (b) and the painting robot B confirms the presence thereof to paint said article D to be painted. The other painting table is returned to the position (a) after painting and the article to be painted is replaced.
