PURPOSE:To eliminate measuring errors due to the variation of a constant, by measuring the constant determined by an ion electrode, a temperature and an ionization number at a prescribed time interval and finding the constant at each measuring time by an interpolation calculation. CONSTITUTION:A constant obtained by measuring a constant K which is decided by an ion electrode, a temperature, an ionization number, at some moment tm is denoted as Km and a constant measured at a moment tm+1 after the lapse of T hours is denoted as Km+1. The constant K is regarded to vary linearly between the constant Km and Km+1 and the constant K measured at the time after the lapse of t hours (0<=t<=T) from the moment tm is found by working out an interpolation calculation (the constant Km, Km+1 are calculated from the sample of known ion concentration). The value of the ion concentration having the following variation corrected is obtained by finding the constant in such a manner even when the constant K is varied by fluctuation in temperature during measurement or an alteration of characteristic constant of the ion electrode.
