Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily grasp front-rear position relation between tomographic pictures, and to simplify constituion by displaying a stereoscopic image from tomographic pictures by using a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic scattering effect type liquid-crystal plate 17 in a picture reproduction part 18 which corresponds to a position where a CT image is taken is applied with a voltage from a switching control means 19 in response to every read signal from a means 7, and the plate 17 becomes opaque. Simultaneously, a signal of the CT image in a frame memory 6 is read out by the means 7, and laser light is processed by brightness modulation 9 with the picture signal to scan said laser light horizontally and vertically by an optical system 14 consisting of relay lenses 11, 12, 15, and 16, a horizontal scanning rotary mirror 10, and a vertical scanning plane mirror 13. Scattering on the opaque plate 17 reproduces the CT image. Each CT image is reproduced successively within a time when after-image effect is caused, thereby observing a stereoscopic image on the front surface of the reproduction part 18.
