Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply determine the degree of fatigue by a method wherein the determination of the degree of fatigue of a coloring, a decoloring liquid for respectively coloring and decoloring a support piece prepared by separating the component of each object being examined through the electrophoresis method, is made by computing the number of objects being examined. CONSTITUTION:A support piece 1 prepared by separating the component of each object being examined through the electrophoresis method is mounted on each section of an endless chain 3 one at a time in order from a supply rack 2 and conveyed. The support 1 is made to pass through a coloring zone S and a decoloring zone D. In these coloring zone S and decoloring zone D, a coloring liquid and a decoloring liquid each are injected into and discharged from the support 1 in synchronization with the transfer of the support 1. Because of the injection and discharging, the coloring and decoloring liquids become fatigued. Therefore, the number of the objects being examined is computed by an judging device 7 and, based on the value computed, the degree of the fatigue of the colring and decoloring liquids is determined. According to the determination, both liquids are supplied to a coloring liquid tank and a decoloring liquid tank when the degree of fatigue has been confirmed.
