Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a curable compsn. having good storage stability, by blending a polyether having a reactive silicon group with a copolymer contg. a polysiloxane unit and an org. polymer unit.
CONSTITUTION: A curable compsn. contains, as an active component, a compsn. consisting of 100pts.wt. polyether having at least one reactive silcon group in the molecule, 0.01W100pts.wt. copolymer contg. both a polysiloxane unit and an org. polymer unit, and 0W500pts.wt. organopolysiloxane. The reactive silicon group of said polyether is a group capable of condensing or reacting in the presence of moisture or an additive. Examples of said reactive silicon groups are a hydrolyzable group attached to silicon atom and silanol group. Polyethers having an MW of 500W15,000 are preferred. As said org. polymer, polyethers such as polyethylene oxide and polypropylene oxide are particularly preferred.
