Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to change a tool when an incidental accident such as breaking of the tool has occurred during machining, by incorporating a tool change command switch into a machining control program. CONSTITUTION:When it becomes necessary to change the tool on a spindle 1 during execution of an ordinary machining program, the execution of the program is stopped momentarily. Then, the spindle 1 is returned to the original point with reference to each of X, Y and Z axese, and an operation mode selecting switch is set on either the storage side or the taking-out side for the tool. Thereafter, a tool-selecting switch 6 is set at a desired tool number and an operating switch 8 is depressed. Accordingly, the program incorporated as above is started by turning ON the switch 8, thereby starting the tool-changing operation.
