Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction and increase the safety by positioning a knob which operates a lock position rotation restricting member engaged to a rotating member attached to the rear of a cylinder lock rotor at further aft of a lock bolt of the cylinder lock. CONSTITUTION:A semi-circular drive cam 9 formed at the rear of a rotor 3 of a cylinder lock A rotates with the rotation of a key 2, and the drive cam 9 and the rotor 3 are connected to move together by engaging of an extruding shaft 18 of said cam 9 with a notched hole 19 of a rotating member 11 when said cam 9 forces a lock bolt 5 to the unlocking direction while abutting an protruded piece 10 protruding from the side wall of the lock bolt 5. A lock position rotation restricting lever 13 is provided aft of the rotating member 11, the tip 13a of said lever 13 automatically engaging with an engaging part 12 formed on the rotating member 11 by the force of a spring 14 when the key 2 is at the angle preceding to the locking position. A knob 15 which operates said restricting lever 13 is provided at the rear end of the lever 13.
