Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a compsn. which has an improved antproof effect, is low in toxicity to man and beast, and has no fear of environmental pollution, by incorporating a specified amount of pentabromophenyl ether in a resin compsn.
CONSTITUTION: 5W50pts.wt. pentabromophenyl ether of formulaIand 100pts.wt. resin compsn. are kneaded. The resulting antproofing resin compsn. exhibits a remakrably high antproof effect. The compd. of formulaImay sometimes bloom with time, thereby lowering the antproof effect. When 1W10pts.wt. polycaprolactone is kneaded previously or simultaneously with a resin in said resin compsn., the blooming is prevented and the durability of the antproof effect can be improved.
