Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a flame spreading pipe connecting structure wich is capable of improving the reliability of the joints between the inner cylinders of a plurality of burners and the fire spreading pipes and between the flame spreading pipes themselves and which is capable of facilitating the disassembly and the assembly of each of the burners in the titled burners wherein a plurality of burners are joined with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The flame spreading pipes 24a and 24b adopted to spread a flame the from the burner 2a to the burner 2b are made in the forms of short pipes having lengths substantially equal to the distances between the inner cylinder 5a and the outer cylinder 3a of the burner 2a and between the inner cylinder 5b and the outer cylinder 3b of the burner 2b, respectiely, and a fixing ring 25 is attached to one end of each of the heat spreading pipes 24a and 24b. The fixing ring 25 fixes the pipe 24a (24b) by being inserted into a holding section 29 of a retainer 27a (27b) which is inserted into a clip 26 attached to the outside of the inner cylinder 5a (5b). Further, a connecting pipe 30 comprising a tubular body 31a and a tubular body 31b is provided between the outer cylinders 3a and 3b so as to bridge the cylinders and so as to cover the other ends of the flame spreading pipes 24a and 24b, respectively, and inner pipes 35a and 35b are arranged within the connecting pipe 30 so that annular clearances 36a and 36b leading to an air passage are provided between the pipe 30 and the pipe 35a and between the pipe 30 and the pipe 35b, respectively.
