Abstract

PURPOSE:To simulate the non-linear relation between the recovery force and the displacement through a folding line and to realize it faithfully, by providing a plurality of coil springs having different diameter and free length between a movable spring receiver and a fixed spring receiver of a non-linear spring device. CONSTITUTION:A movable spring seat 6 is provided slidably in the cylinder 2 of a non-linear spring device 1. Then a plurality of coil springs 11-13 having different diameter are mounted coaxially between said seat 6 and fixed spring seats 8-10 provided at the base end of the cylinder 2. The free length of said springs 11-13 are made different to simulate the non-linear relation between the recovery force and the displacement with a holding line and realize it faithfully.
