Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve an initial strength and a long-term strength, by mixing 100pts.wt. of hydraulic cement, 10W80pts.wt. of aluminum sulfate, 10W50pts.wt. of alumina cement, 10W80pts.wt. of gypsum and 20W80pts.wt. of lime.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of hydraulic cement such as conventional Portland cement or quick hardening Portland cement is mixed with each component of 10W 80pts.wt. of aluminum sulfate containing 10wt% of aluminum part at Al2O3 conversion, 10W50pts.wt. of alumina cement, 10W80pts.wt. of gypsum and 20W 80pts.wt. of lime such as decarboxylated quick lime, to prepare a caking composition. The composition is suitable for caking organic sludge, esp. organic sludge formed in purification of sewage with use of a high molecular flocculant. In this case, the consumption rate of the caking composition is 5W25pts.wt. enough by 100pts.wt. of the organic sludge in a wet state.
