Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the small light wt. filter element with long life by using a strip like filter material having a flat plate like part and a corrugated plate like part alternatly formed thereto to attain to increse a filter area.
CONSTITUTION: A flat plate like part 3a and a corrugated plate like part 3b are alternatly formed to a strip like filter material 3 in a longitudinal direction and the front and the back surfaces of the flat plate like part 3a are coated with an adhesive 7 by using a conduit and, after coating, the filter material 3 is bent at a boundary of the flat plate like and the corrugated plate like parts 3a, 3b to laminate both parts 3a, 3b mutually. In both sides of the formed laminate 6, the flat plate like part 3a and the corrugated plate like part 3b are adhered at every group by coating the adhesive 7 and, in this case, the adhered parts of both sides are alternately positioned so as not to be opposed mutually and, between the non-adhered side and the adhered side, a bag part 6a for passing a medium to be filtered is formed.
