Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable fine adjustment of angle of installation of an outboard engine on a boat without increasing width of clamp bracket, by arranging pin- receiving holes on circular arcs of different diameters. CONSTITUTION:Pin-receiving holes 10a-10e are arranged on circular arcs l1 and l2 of different diameters drawn on a clamp bracket 2 with a shaft bearing point 0 of a swivel bracket 3 as the center, and the pin-receiving holes 10b and 10d on the small-diameter circular arc l1 are to be located between the pin-receiving holes 10c and 10e on the large-diameter circular arc l2. And therefore, the width of the clamp bracket 2 to be needed for providing the pin-receiving holes 10a- 10e is sufficient for arranging three pin-receiving holes of 10a, 10c and 10e on the large-diameter circular arc l2, and this width of the clamp bracket 2 is smaller than that needed in the case of arranging the five pin-receiving holes of 10a-10e in series.
