Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the shift between the optical axes of a fiber and a photoelectric transducer when they are joined together, by forming a fiber lead-in hole and the hole into which the photoelectric transducer is inserted concentrically and in a block. CONSTITUTION:For the connection of a fiber 4, the fiber 4 is led in from the opening side of a lead-in hole 2 and then the end face of the fiber 4 is made to touch the light emitting surface (or photodetecting surface) of a photoelectric transducer 5. A spired fixing screw 12 is screwed into a screw hole 6 in the state under which the surface where the optical signal is received has a complete contact, and the screw 12 reaches the inside of the coat of the fiber 4 to completely fix the fiber 4. In the same way, another fiber 4 is connected to the transducer 5. As the hole 2 and a hole 3 into which the transducer 5 is inserted are formed concentrically in a block, no shift of optical axes is caused.
