Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the shape of component parts and reduce the number thereof by arranging an outside drum on the rising outer periphery of a box- shaped member formed of transparent systhetic resin and by compressing and engaging the rising tip part of the box-shaped member with a back at the lower part of the outside drum. CONSTITUTION:The outside drum 11 formed of a metal is set on the rising outer periphery of the box-shaped member 10 formed of synthetic resin, and the outside drum 11 and the back 4 formed also of a metal are compressed and engaged thereon through the intermediary of the lower projection 10a of the box- shaped member 10. Moreover, on the outside drum 11, a glass rim 2 formed of a metal is set and said glass rim 2 is compressed on and engaged with the box- shaped member 10 in the direction of the diameter leaving a little compression margin. By such a constitution, simplification of the shape of the component parts and reduction of the number thereof can be achieved and thus the cost therefor can be reduced sharply in comparison with conventional watches.
