Abstract

PURPOSE:To put a measured value into a computer and save man-power by providing a transducer which converts a value measured by calipers into an electrical value, a digital encoder and a switch. CONSTITUTION:Displacement of a sliding portion of calipers themselves 3 is transmitted by wire, gear and so forth to a differential transformer 5 provided to the calipers themselves. The output of the differential transformer 5 is supplied to a CPU of a computer 2 by a digital encoder 7 and is stored in an external memory device FDD and is displayed by a CRT or printed out by a printer PR. With this constitution, man-power is saved.
