Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a desired program easily by recording information on a data, time, etc., accurately by a fixed head by superposing it on a part of the flyback period of a video signal on a tape by providing the fixed head which performs recording and tracking at the part of the vertical flyback period. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is recorded on a tape 1 by video heads 2 and 3 and a data and time to be recorded is set on a console panel 18; and the date and time when the video signal is recorded are converted into a binary digital signal by an encoder circuit 12. The encoder circuit 12 and a head 6 are connected together with a switch 13 and simultaneously with the recording of the video signal, the digital signal is recorded on the tape 1 where a flyback line is recorded. When the recorded date and time are read out, the encoder circuit 14 decodes the binary signal and when the recorded date and time are required, the circuit 14 and a display device 17 are connected together with a switch 15 to display the data and time on the display part 17. Then, the head records the information on the data time, etc., at the part of the flyback period accurately for enabling to detect a desired program.
