Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow a handicapped person to carry out wire cut electrical discharge machining, by permitting a wire electrode placing column and a work placing jig to be moved away from the machining positions on beds, and also permitting the operator to be sitting on a wheelchair to gain access to the working position. CONSTITUTION:Various operation equipments are placed on an operation table through which operation can be carryed out with the operator sitting on a wheelchair, wheares the column 3 on which a wire electrode 8 is placed and the attaching jig 23 for a work 16 can each be moved away from the machining positions on the beds 1, 17, 21 of the wire cut electric spark machine. The beds 1, 17, 21 are formed into a gate type or an eaves type so that the operator with as he remains sitting on a wheelchair is accesible thereto. Lower boring machining before the starting of said machining is provided on a bed independently from said machine.
