CONSTITUTION:With a tuning key 10 or a memory station key 11, channel selection is performed and the oscillation frequency of a local oscillator 8 is controlled through a control storage device 9 to receive a radio wave from a desired broadcasting station. Simultaneously, a signal from a receiving detector 14 is applied to the control storage device 9 and this signal is used to supply a control signal for changing the directions of an antenna 1 from the control storage device 9 to a driving device 20. In parallel to that, a signal from an electric-field intensity detector 13 and a signal from a multipath detector 15 are supplied to a sampling comparator 16 and when the antenna 1 is directed on the basis of a comparision value so that reception is in the best state, a stop signal is supplied to the driving device 9 to fix the antenna 1 at the position.
