CONSTITUTION:Division widths of filters 9a-9d are controlled to divide an output spectrum, which is obtained by multiplying the output spectrum resulting from Fourier conversion of the receiving signal of a synthetic aperture radar in a circuit 1 and a predetermined system function Hn in a circuit 2, equally so as to overlap output spectrums one another partially. These spectrums are subjected to reverse Fourier conversion in a circuit 4 individually, and amplitudes of respective output signals are extracted individually by a detector 5, and output signals are added in a circuit 6 to obtain one reproduced picture W't. Thus, the degradation of the resolution of a reproduced image due to the multilook processing is reduced to generate speckles, thereby improving the quality of pictures.
