PURPOSE:To automate processing from fault acceptance to repair indication by connecting an information processor to a telephone switchboard equipped with a dial pulse sending mechanism, by receiving and registering a fault telephone number, sent by dialing, by the processor, and automatically transferring the number of a data terminal for a maintenance department. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber operates a telephone set 1 to call an information processor 4 through a telephone network 2, the processor 4 requests the subscriber to dial a fault telephone number once receiving the call. The fault telephone number dialed by the subscriber is received by a dial pulse receiver 3 and the received number is sent to and registered by the processor 4 and also transferred automatically to a data terminal 5 installed in the maintenance department. Thus the processing from the fault acceptance to repair indication is automated to save labor and also to improve service.
