Abstract
PURPOSE:To use a controller as a digital clock, by incorporating a digital clock which is operated by a battery, in a temperature controller, and cnstituting so that an electric power supply cord and a lead wire to an electric blanket can be attached to and detached from the controller. CONSTITUTION:A digital clock consisting of a quartz oscillator 36, a liquid crystal display part 35 and a microcomputer muCM31, which are operated by a battery power source part 37 is incorporated in a temperature controller CT61 for controlling a temperature of an electric blanket. As for an electric blanket 62, a heating element 10 is electrically conducted through an SCR32 from an AC power source 15. A temperature of heating element is detected by a temperature detecting circuit 22 containing a temperature detecting line 14, and a temperature is set by a temperature setting circuit 26. A temperature detecting value and a setting value of the circuits 22, 26 are A/D-converted 30, 29, respectively, are inputted to the muCM31, in accordance with which the muCM31 controls the SCR 32 through a triggering circuit 33 and controls a temperature of the electric blanket. A lead wire 63 and an electric power supply cord 63 to the electric blanket can be attached to and detached from the CT61 with a socket 65, and the CT61 is used as a digital clock when the electric blanket is not used.
