Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate coating by providing a conveyor for conveying a core, a roller for coating a size onto the upper surface of the core and an adhesion preventing means of the core to the coating roller to reduce a use amount of the size.
CONSTITUTION: Under such a condition that a core 1 formed by spirally winding a paper or a fabric is fitted to a frame 7, the core is conveyed by a conveyor 2 and the surfaces of the frame 7 and the core 1 are coated with a size 3 by a coating roller 4. After coating, the coated core and the frame are sent to the next process to be laminated with a surface material such as a plywood or the like or one laminated with the surface material is turned over and the newly exposed surfaces of the frame 7 and the core 1 are similarily coated with the size and laminated with the surface material to obtain a flash panel. When the core surface is coated with the size, the core 1 is struck down by a rotary roller 8 to prevent the same from being adhered thereto and lifted therefrom.
