Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution, by photoelectric-transducing the vibration of a diaphragm plate through the use of an optical means and obtaining a digital output directly. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm plate 14 is supported with a circular ridge in a microphone vessel 15 and a light source 16 such as light emitting diode is supported to a base plate 17. At almost the center of inner surface of the diaphragm plate, an optical element 19 consisting of binary code pattern formed with reflecting and non-reflecting planes is engraved and the element is responsed together with the diaphragm plate 14. The light flux illuminated at the light source 16 and formed in stripes with a cylindrical lens 19 is reflected on the element 19 having the reflecting plane in the binary code pattern and incident to a photoelectric transducer 20. The transducer 20 has photo detecting planes 21-24 lengthwise by the number of columns corresponding to the bit of pattern of the optical element 19.
