Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a capacity of a memory and a manufacturing cost, by detecting a peak value of the number of responses during a transient phenomenon and estimating a behavior of each part of a shaft by means of a mathematical model. CONSTITUTION:A detecting part 5 for shaft twisting angle and an electric torque detecting part 6 detects a signal, and a peak value, time converter 11 produces the peak value and generating time of the signal into a digital signal to store them in a memory 12. After collecting of all data is complete. A wave form, filtered by a digital band pass filter computer 13 at each mode, is overlapped to a wave form obtained resulting from the multiplication of a coefficiency by a wave form composite computer part 14 to compute a twisting angle at each of a shaft system. Vibration, torque, and stress of each part of the shaft are computed from the output based on a mathematical model previously provided by a computer part 9 for the degree of fatigue damage to evaluate vibration applied to the shaft and the degree of fatigue damage to provide an output part with the results.
