Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for ste-up, save labor and improve safety by providing a mounting and dismounting device that mounts and dismounts an original sheet in a unit box through a stop rod on a printing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A rear stopping board 7 of an originl sheet 3 engages a groove section (g) provided parallel to the axis of a stopping rod 39, and the board 7 is retained by a claw plate 45 so that it will not fall off. Next, after a unit box 15 in which a necessary number of original sheets in group are beforehand preset at outside of the machine by hanging in a conveyor chain 24 in the order of use is set, the original sheet 3 that is outmost to the right is moved to a position where it can engage a carrier arm 26. Then this movement is effected by operating a push button (not shown) and actuation a cylinder 19 in the direction by which its piston rod retreats. Further, following original sheets are conveyed successively.
