Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture tube device which is small in a difference of deflecting width, etc., and high in its image resolution, by providing a convergence device for magnetic fields of 4 poles and 6 poles by coil winding, on the neck part of an inline array color image receiving tube, and constituting its coil holding frame of a nonmagnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:Between a deflecting yoke 7 of an inline electron gun color picture tube, and a convergence and color purity correcting device 9 consisting of a permanent magnet, a dynamic convergence device 10 is provided. As shown in the figures A, B, it is constituted, for instance, of a coil for generating magnetic fields of 4 poles and 6 poles, and is capable of converging any misconvergence by freely moving electron beams of both sides. Also, each coil is wound round a core 12 installed to a frame 13, and being different from a conventional one, the frame 13 is constituted of a nonmagnetic substance such as aluminum. In this way, it is possible to obtain a color picture tube device having a high image resolution, which is not only satisfactory in raster distortion but also suitable for display of a character, etc. by raising the sensitivity of convergence, without expanding a horizontal-vertical deflection center difference of a landing characteristic.
