Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a disc brake system by incorporating both of a brake cylinder connected to a hand master cylinder and a brake cylinder connected to a foot master cylinder, in a front wheel brake device. CONSTITUTION:A piston 16 and an inner cylinder 14 are incorporated in an inner caliper 17 of a front wheel disc brake 1. The inner cylinder 14 is secured to the inner caliper 17 by a screw 12. Cylinders 9, 10 connected to two hydraulic systems are formed in the inner portion and the outer peripheral portions of the piston 16. Further, the cylinder 10 is connected to the hand master cylinder 7 through an anti-skid system 6, and the cylinder 9 is connected to the foot master cylinder 3. The foot master cylinder 3 is also connected to a rear wheel disc brake 5.
