Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a record player by arranging a clamper on a moving table projecting from the front surface of a record player housing, mounting a disk on it, and inserting the moving table into the housing for play. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 2 and a clamper moving table 3 are drawn out of an external housing 1 and a disk 4 is mounted on the table. The clamper 2 enters into a hole part atop of the moving table 3. The hole part of the moving tabld 3 is greater than the diameter of the clamper 2 and the disk 4 is set on a center spindle 8. An annular magnet 18 is buried in the root part of the spindle 8. In the housing 1, a turntable 11 driven by a rotary motor 10 is arranged. The moving table 3 is moved to the lower part of the turntable 11 and a collar 6 is pressed up with the tip of an upward and downward moving arm 12 so that the center spindle 8 is in the center of the turntable 11. An annular magnetic body 17 presses the disk 4 and clamper 2 against the turntable 11 by the attracting force of the magnet 18, so that the disk becomes freely rotatable.
