Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate gaps of eye sight of a detector, by locating a mirror altering instantaneous eyesight in an image forming optical system, in an image pickup device consisting of an infrared-ray detector and charge transfer elements. CONSTITUTION:An image of an incident infrared ray 1 is formed on an image pickup device IRCCD 3 consisting of an infrared-ray detector and charge transfer elements with an image forming optical system 2 and an interlace mirror 8. An output 4 of the IRCCD is applied to a display device 6 via an amplifier 5. A driver 7 supplies a driving signal to the IRCCD and the interlace mirror to change the state where instantaneous eyesight can alternately be compensated at each one field. Thus, the instantaneous eyesight of the detector which is normally at 20% can be doubled and the mask region can be reduced.
