Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Wedged grooves 14, 14' are formed by upper and lower coincal and trapezoidal rotary members 6, 6' along the trim line of a steel band 2 from the front and rear through the plastic deformation and to remain a narrow section 15 between them. Thereafter the narrow section 15 remained at the trim line is cut by a conical and trapezoidal cutter 7 as the advance of the steel band 2 to produce the fine and smooth cutting face having no slack or warp and to improve the production yield.
