CONSTITUTION:When fixing a cutter chip 1 having a cutter corner 6 to a tool body 2, a foot projection 5 provided approximately at the center of the lower face of a cutter chip 1 is matched with a tapered hole 8 made at the center of the chip fixing seat face 7 of the body 2 then taper coupled through the punch hitting thus to integrate them 1, 2. After fixing the cutter chip 1 to the tool body 2 the cutting work is performed. At this cutting work the highest cutting resistance or the main force component will function from the upper face of the cutter chip 1 toward the lower face, thereby the taper coupling between the foot projection 5 and the tapered hole 8 is strengthened to fix the cutting width cutter chip 1 to the tool body stably.
